2° (425 x 277mm). 28 engraved maps coloured in outline, all double page, one also folding, and one plain engraved plate. (Occasional light browning, some of the maps with short tears at gutter fold without loss.) Contemporary half calf over marbled boards, spine with green leather gilt lettering piece 'Maps to Cook's Voyages' (worn, joints splitting, spine defective at head and tail, chips to lettering piece).
