Numerous woodcut arms in the text, illustration of the Persian tomb on p.780 (short splits in title, G6, Bb1 & Ss5, occasional unimportrant browning). 18th-century calf, gilt spine with black lettering piece (rubbed). Provenance: George Molesworth (18th-century signature on title) - J. Bayley (19th-century signature on an endpaper). Fourth edition. STC 23345; Upcott II, pp.615-16.
