Second edition, first published in 1827-1831 (see previous lot). This new edition is edited by Gilbert Burnett (1800-1835), professor of botany at King's College, demonstrator in botany at the Chelsea Physic Garden, and Fellow of the Linnaean Society. Stafleu & Cowan TL2 13.011.
