Contemporary half calf and marbled boards, upper cover with ink lettered label (some wear to spine and edges). Provenance: Isaac Meulman (bookplate).
A beautifully illustrated funeral book, commemorating the processsion following the death of PRINCESS ANNE. The daughter of King George II of England had become governor of the seven Provinces of the United Netherlands after the death of her husband. The illustrations display uniforms, costumes, horses and carriages and give an architectural record of the Hague in the background.
