Small 4°, engraved frontispiece of Gustavus Adolphus, King of Sweden, one woodcut illustration, woodcut initials and headpieces, contemporary calf (some restoration, new gilt lettering on spine, chips to covers). Provenance: Andrew Sherlock (inscription on front free endpaper, dated 1685).
Second edition, dedicated to the Marquis of Hamilton, "Master of the Horse to his Majesty". Huth p. 19; Wing D858.
