RARE FIRST EDITION of "the first book to warn of the dangers of shooting" (Chute), in this case in regard to the double-barelled flintlocks recently imported from France. ESTC records only three copies at Edinburgh University, Libary of Congress, and Yale, while Chute notes: "I have yet to see a copy". Schwerdt I, p. 187; cf. Chute 220.
