Half title, title with small armorial motif, 12 lithographed plates by Vasse, tinted in blue, black and sepia (half title and title spotted, text leaves and plates with light mainly marginal spotting). Contemporary cloth-backed decorated paper boards (extremities rubbed). The plates depict one of the finest Belgian gardens designed in the French classical style in the mid-19th-century.
