A celebratory target shooting in honor of the birth of LEOPOLD (13 April 1716-4 November 1716), son of Emperor CARL VI and ELISABETH CHRISTINA of Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, and older brother of Maria Theresa. The tornament was held for the citizens of Vienna on 21 September 1716, and the following days, outside the city. The volume is illustrated with targets, and large views of the schooting range with Vienna in the background by ELIAS SCHAFFHAUSER after FRANZ TOBIAS KOLLMANN. Lipperheide Te10; Watanabe 109.
