4o (360 x 251 mm). Engraved frontispiece, vignette-title, diagrams in the text, head- and tail-pieces, six-line initials, and 25 plates (some browning, one or two spots). (Some browning, some spotting.) Contemporary quarter green morocco gilt, speckled paper boards (scuffed at the extremities).
Second edition of Galiani's translation and commentary (in Italian only), first published in 1758 (see previous lot). Fowler 427.
