Half title, engraved frontispiece, vignette on title, 20 plates, 2 engraved headpieces, numerous tailpieces, all but one woodcut (occasional spotting, a little stronger on last few leaves). Contemporary French red morocco gilt, gilt border with fleuron corner pieces on sides, flat spine elaborately gilt in compartments with floral and foliate designs, green morocco lettering-piece, inner fillets, gilt edges (2 very small wormholes in upper rear joint). Provenance: The Glen Charles Tennant (bookplate). Cohen-de-Ricci 1030.
