Large 2° (660 x 445 mm). Lithographic title, 37 letterpress text leaves, 119 lithographic plates and 24 lithographic maps. (Variable spotting, short marginal tears with old tape repairs to 3 plates, 1 extending into plate image, short tear with old tape repair to 1 text leaf, 1 map and 1 plate with extensive tears, sometime repaired.) Later half morocco (extremities lightly rubbed, short split to upper joint at tail).
EXTREMELY RARE. Only 2 institutional copies can be traced, both in Italy (Bari and Rome). Produced by the lithographer at the Regio Palazzo Vecchio of Naples and including splendid portraits, some copied from earlier paintings, picturesque views and maps of the Kingdom.
