The case of typical form, rectangular canted plinth base, giltwood figural finials (with Atlas and Mercury), the arched 33 cm. (12 in.) dialplate with moonphase above, engraved border, strike not strike lever to the edge, seasonal spandrels to the silvered chapterring, the matted and engraved centre with subsidiary seconds ring, sectors for month and day of week, date aperture above VI, signed Adriaan d'Baghijn Amsterdam, five pillar movement with anchor escapement, Dutch strike on two bells above (alarm work lacking); door key, crank key, two large brass weights, pendulum
