The clock case surmounted by classically draped allegorical figures, the white enamel dial signed CHARPENTIER & Cie/BRONZIER/A PARIS/RUE CHARLOT 8, with Roman hours, Arabic five minutes, pierced gilt-brass hands, the twin barrel movement with Brocot suspension and rack striking to bell, the back plate with CHARPENTIER trade stamp; with pendulum and winding key; together with a pair of conforming candelabra
The clock: 17 ¾ in. (45 cm) high; 27 in. (68.5 cm.) wide; 6 ¼ in. (15.9 cm.) deep
