A modern marine chronometer in a three tiered mahogany box
Hamilton, Lancaster, PA., circa 2000
the 3¾ in. white enameled dial, signed Hamilton/Lancaster Penna. U.S.A., and marked "Quartz" with Roman numerals, gold hours, minutes and secons hands, set within a gimballed brass bowl with gimbal latch, brass key, within two-tiered brass bound mahogany box with numbered maker's plate, drop handles and lock with key.
7 5/8 x 7½ x 7½ in. (19.4 x 19.1 x 19.1 cm.) box.
