    Brass-bound mahogany box, matt silvered dial with subsidiary seconds and state of wind dials, signed 'NOVET' and numbered 16000, brass main hands, single chain fusee movement with spring detent escapement to cut bimetallic balance with circular heat compensation weights; tipsy winding key
