An early 20th century American Ship Strike with automatic bell
Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Massachusetts
with a 5¼ in. (13.3 cm) silvered dial, Arabic numerals, signed on the face "Chelsea/Automatic/Ship's Bell", with Slow/Fast adjuster, blued steel hands, keywinds to movement and strike to a twin barrel movement, within a circular brass case, and mounted on a footed mahogany backboard, wired to run automatically [not tested].
17¼ x 24 in. (43.8 x 61 cm.) backboard.
