    Préparatoire au Tombeau d'Elysée, tableau peint à Rome et envoyé en 1774 à l'Académie des Arts de Bordeaux comme morceau de réception (voir Le port des lumières. La peinture à Bordeaux: 1750-1800, cat. expo., Bordeaux, musée des beaux-arts, 1989, no. 94). La même signature de l'artiste se retrouve sur une autre étude de personnage (Catalogue Watteau, Paris, galerie P. Prouté, 2001, no. 12).
