Opaque pigments and gold on paper, the black-skinned figure of the Goddess stands in a heavily gilt shrine, a lion and Ganesh at her feet, a worshipper wearing a pink robe with gold trim stands before her in a courtyard, a tree and two red flags in the background, minor staining and creases, otherwise in very good condition, in old frame with label of "Chas. H. West, 117 Finchley Road, Swiss Cottage, London, N.W."
