The partnership of Earnshaw & Heptonstall is listed in C. Gilbert, Dictionary of English Furniture Makers 1660 - 1840, Leeds, 1986, p.264, at Kirkburton, Yorks, in 1834, though John Earnshaw is not listed individually at the Otley address.
