FURNITURE LOTS 566-586 DESIGNED AND PRODUCED BY SARIDIS
The famous Greek cabinet making firm of Saridis was established in 1867. Every item of furniture bearing the Saridis signature and guarantee of authenticity is handmade by its highly trained and skilled team of 50 master craftsmen and takes around two-and-a-half months to complete. In Greece the Saridis name has long been synonymous with quality and fine craftsmanship; Versace, Lagerfeld and Madonna are among its valued clientele. Saridis makes reproduction furniture from all periods, ranging from Louis XV to English designs and it is perhaps best known for its work with the great English Classicist TH Robsjohn-Gibbings in reviving ancient Greek furniture styles.
