A MID-VICTORIAN SOLID SATINWOOD AND AMARANTH WRITING-TABLE
BY HOLLAND & SONS, CIRCA 1870
The rounded rectangular top inset with a leather-lined writing surface above two ash-lined frieze drawers with convex quarter fillets and original handles, on ring-turned fluted tapering legs with brass caps and castors stamped 'COPE AND COLLINSON', one frieze drawer stamped 'HOLLAND & SONS', the underside with batten-carrying holes, the top paint-spattered.
