    The reeded leather-lined top with D-shaped ends and two ratchetted reading slopes above a panelled frieze with two drawers to each side, on bulbous turned and reeded standard supports joined by a turned stretcher and with scrolled foliate legs with castors, two drawers stamped GILLOWS LANCASTER
