    A SATINWOOD, SYCAMORE, ROSEWOOD, AND MARQUETRY SERPENTINE COMMODE**

    In the George III style, of serpentine form, the top and sides centered by an oval medallion, the top with ribbon-inlaid border, each cabinet door with similar oval inlaid with a floral bouquet, and enclosing a shelf, on splayed feet, the back with yellow chalk inventory number 789, stamped 'MADE IN ENGLAND' to right vertical on reverse, the underside of top re-supported, the sides formerly with lifting handles
