A SPINACH-GREEN JADE LOTUS-FORM STAND
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The stand is carved as an open lotus flower, with rows of petals encircling the raised central platform carved with circular 'seeds' in reference to a lotus pod, all supported on a tall, domed pedestal foot carved with pendent petal lappets. The semi-translucent stone has some lighter markings.
1 ¾ in. (4.5 cm.) high, 4 in. (10.3 cm.) diam.
