PROPERTY REMOVED FROM A CHISWICK HOUSE, LOTS 1-14
The following selection of lots have been removed from a property designed by the inspired local London architect, Richard Churchward, circa 1930s. The design of this family home, and others nearby, is particularly interesting as it reflects the development of the Vernacular architectural style in England. Rural local architectural elements, such as the tall dormers in the roof, were used to create an imaginative and modern living space for a family home in the interwar period. The subsequent lots also imitate the individuality of their architectural setting.
