    AN ART NOUVEAU ENAMEL, DIAMOND AND GOLD "SYLPH" DOG COLLAR, BY RENE LALIQUE
    Designed as a winged sylph in high relief, extending pale green, light and dark blue plique-à-jour enamel butterfly wings with gold veining, enhanced by old mine-cut diamonds, with legs metamorphosing into an undulating chased gold and green enamel fish tail, mounted in gold, circa 1900
