The architectural case with domed top raised on six fluted columns with Corinthian capitals above the stepped base with singing bird, the twin barrel movement with later platform lever escapement and strike on bell, second movement is in the base with a separate winding arbor to the side to activate the singing bird, numbered '1803' to the backplate
