Painted with James II standing in his coronation robes holding the orb and sceptre enriched in brown flanked by the initials I 2/R and with two three-tiered trees with blue and manganese branches within a triple blue line concentric surround and blue-dash border, the underside with pale-brown slip and a lead glaze, restored rim chip to centre, small damage to body to left of the right-hand tree and some minor flaking to rim
