Angela Pintaldi was born on November 18th, 1960 and it was at the tender age of eighteen that her fascination with jewelry prevailed. This was not by reading glamorous magazines or pressing her nose against the windows of Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels but by studying shape and form and redesigning pieces of unused family jewelry.
With strong interest within the fashion world her pieces have become well-known in trend setting circles and are featured in leading lifestyle magazines. This is illustrated by the fact that her creations are sold in stores such as Bergdorf Goodman and other exclusive salons.
At the center of her inspiration is nature, not in a neatly ordered and conventional way, but with a focus on metemorphosis and the creation, it is design looking beyond the street corner florist.
At the age of 39, she decided to create the same number of jewels per year to benefit her special charity. This is an idea surely everyone would like to see her continue, not only to support such a worthwhile cause but to provide the opportunity to see more objects by Angela Pintaldi.
