composed of a hinged twelve box decorative panel to both sides with, on the obverse, a circular micromosaic plaque depicting a white dodo bird against a turquoise sky, on the reverse, a micromosaic plaque with the inscription 'AVIS RARA', each within rope twist circles to the ropework gold surround and surmount, with ropework suspension chain, signed CC for Castellani
