(75cm) double-edged blade bearing a small area of etched foliate decoration, cast gilt-brass knucklebow, shell and crown pommel, the shell mounted with WivR cypher within a spray of palm and laurel leaves, and wire-wound grip, in leather scabbard with gilt-brass locket and chape (gilding of mounts slightly rubbed)
