An Imperial Satsuma hexagonal deep bowl
Meiji Period
painted and gilt to the interior with a mulititude of chrysanthemums and grasses issuing from brushwood fences, all below bands of entwined irises, chrysanthemums and daisies and floral lappets to the rim, the exterior with scattered sprays of further flowers -- 6¾in. (17cm.) wide, signed and with blue enamel mon.
