Gouache heightened with gold on paper, the bearded Bahram Khan heavily armed with two long swords, a katar and a shield at his waist, stands on a grassy bank wearing white floral patterned jama over crimson pajama, laid down between gold and polychrome rules on blue border decorated with gold floral scrolls, mounted, framed and glazed, old sale details pasted to back of frame
