Pteryplegia ... third edition. London: J. Lever, 1767. 8°, engraved frontispiece by and after W. Sherwin (frontispiece torn at upper margin, verso soiled, corners creased and a little singed, without the final advertisement leaf). Described as the third but actually the fourth London edition, it was the first to include an engraved frontispiece. Chute 430; Schwerdt IV, p. 62.
Together with two other editions of 1735 and 1776, the latter in contemporary grey wrappers (worn), uncut and unrecorded in ESTC. (4)
