Jaeger-LeCoultre and Christie's support for End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation (ECSAF) In November 2011, the 179-year-old watchmaking manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre launched the Proto Zero project at the Grand Opening of its 1881 Heritage boutique in Hong Kong. This initiative is to offer the Manufacture's Proto Zero models, prototypes of a selection of Jaeger-LeCoultre's iconic limited edition watches to be sold at the brand's 1881 Heritage boutique, where 10 of the sales of every watch sold will be donated to the End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation (ECSAF). Christie's is honored to have been chosen to auction the present Grande Reverso Blue Enamel Prototype 0 by Jaeger-LeCoultre to help fight child sexual abuse and support ECSAF. The brand will generously donate the entire proceeds of the sale to this very noble cause. Christie's will in turn donate all of the buyer's premium of the sale of the present lot. End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation (ECSAF) is a Hong Kong based charity that fight against sexual abuse perpetrated against children under 18. The Foundation was founded in 1998 by Ms Siao Fong Fong, an internationally renowned actress and a qualified child psychologist/therapist. Their work includes counseling, researches, education programmes and workshops. Social workers are available to provide public information related to child sexual abuse and offer immediate ventilation of stress and give referrals to psychologists and offer counsel services to victims. In addition, they also help raising awareness of the general public on the importance of child protection against sexual abuse through workshops and different interactive outreach education programmes in schools. Last but not least, ECSAF commission and publish academic researches on incidences and causes of child sexual abuse in order to raise public awareness and deliver sexual abuse preventive programs.
