12o (145 x 85 mm). Woodcut ornaments and initials. (One or two persistent worm holes to gutters.) Contemporary calf, covers decorated with a broad border of blind and gilt fillets, spine in seven compartments separated by gilt acanthus leaf rolls, all edges gilt (head of spine worn with minor loss and with one or two splits and worm holes, extremities lightly scuffed). Provenance: Nathaniell Lavender (?merchant taylor, London, fl 1630s) (contemporary ownership inscription verso of first blank); Charles Grace(?) (ownership inscription dated 14 August 1839 recto of first blank); R.L.U. (modern bookplate).
