Oblong 4° (195 x 265mm). 2 folding engraved maps, 33 engraved plates (one map strengthened on verso, some mainly marginal spotting and staining). Later patterned boards with morocco title label stamped in gilt mounted on upper cover (extremities rubbed). Provenance: Bulow (armorial bookplate) -- C. E. Rappaport, Roma (bookseller's label).
With Caius Velleius Paterculus's Historiae Romanae (Paris, 1675, in a contemporary calf binding (rebacked) with the arms of Louis de France, "le Grand Dauphin" (1661-1711, cf. Olivier 2522c). (2)
