With rhodium-plated lever movement, 21 jewels, glucydur balance, silvered matte dial, the black chapter ring with Arabic and baton numerals, luminescent hands, eccentric seconds at nine o'clock, magnified aperture for date, large brushed cushion-form water-resistant-type case with protected crown and screw back, the hinged front lid finely engraved with a lion's head amidst a surround of acanthus leaves with a small gilded African shield all within a geometrical border highlighted with gilding, case, cover, dial and movement signed, the case and cover further signed for Purdey, with a brushed stainless steel Panerai buckle
