PATSY CLINE DRESSES
Four cocktail dresses; the first being black cotton with three-quarter-length sleeves and a leopard print attached sash; handsewn by Hilda Hensley (Patsy's mother) who frequenty made clothes for her daughter; the second being sleeveless with a silver and gold brocade floral pattern with an interior label partially missing but that once read "Maison/Mendessolle/San Francisco;" the third being a sleeveless beige silk chiffon adorned with rhinestones on the top portion with an interior label reading "Original/Fashion Preferred/Styled by/Jack Liebman/Montreal-Canada;" the fourth being a sleeveless turquoise silk chiffon with a matching belt and an interior label reading "Helen Rose;" 'Helen Rose' being the Academy Award-winning Hollywood costume designer; many of these worn by Cline while she performed in Las Vegas in November and December, 1962.
