MANUSCRIPT MATERIAL BY PINTER IS RARE. In 1992, Pinter gave his entire archive to the British Library. This typescript, and a few others on the market, was consigned by Pinter in the mid-80s to an auction that raised finds for South African political prisoners. It bears Pinter's copious annotations and corrections, including changes to lines and stage directions.
