The Ladies Telegraph, for Corresponding at a Distance, a very rare printed fan, with twenty six flaps or slides corresponding to the letters of the alphabet, with one extra - the signal, with which to end a sentance, the verso painted in coloured stripes, designed by Robert Rowe, published by M. Stunt, 191 Strand, opposite St. Clements Church Yard, April 20th 1798, with bone sticks - 10in. (25cm.), 1798 - in 19th century box of mauve satin by Rodien (two folds split at the top)
