The clothing boutique Granny Takes A Trip opened in London's King's Road in 1966. With Savile Row trained tailor John Pearse, they created unique designs and styles influenced by fashion of the past. Clients included Pink Floyd, The Small Faces, The Byrds, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles.
The vendor owned boutiques Explosion and Lacy Lady in North Tonawanda, New York, from 1969-1974. He purchased this suit at the National Boutique Show in New York, 1970.
