(1876 title tipped in, also a little soiled and creased, final leaf slightly adhering to endpaper, some leaves cut close), green half calf, gilt spine dated and numbered "Vol. 4" (extremities rubbed, rear inner hinges split), red speckled edges (original wrappers not bound in).
