Roy Rogers's aka Leonard Slye's personal scrapbook and wooden song file case for the legendary Sons of the Pioneers.The handmade scrapbook features Sons of the Pioneers hand-tooled into the leather cover along with an image of a bucking horse and the initials L.F.S.. Inside it features newspaper clippings dating from 1934, as well as publicity photos and film stills featuring the band. The back cover of the scrapbook features the signature of Leonard F. Slye worked into the leather; accompanied by the Sons of the Pioneers wooden song file case, built by Roger's himself, containing hundreds of songs, typewritten and alphabetically categorized on file sheets. Also included is a small catalog of songs included in the wooden case, typewritten in a black notebook.
