(44.5x39.5cm.) designed by Tom Wilkes, Michael Vosse and Barry Feinstein, with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards input on the design of the graffiti on the back cover

This cover was not approved by Decca UK, even though the Rolling Stones loved it. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards did the graffiti on the wall which was to be illustrated on the back cover of the LP. However to avoid arguments and missing crucial Christmas sales they agreed to the simple invitation cover.
No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 15% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis.
The illustration for this lot on page 20 has been incorrectly numbered as 97
