Grand Duke Mikhail Pavlovich (1798-1849), in black uniform, gold- embroidered red collar, gold epaulettes and aiguillette, wearing the blue moiré sash and breast-star of the Imperial Russian Order of St. Andrew, the breast-stars of St. George (2nd class) and St. Vladimir (1st class), and medals and decorations including those of the Turkish War 1828-1829 and the Taking of Warsaw, and 15 years of military service as an officer
