oval, 2 7/16 in. (61 mm.) high, silver-gilt frame with bright-cut border, the polished reverse with central panel of plaited brown hair surrounded by engraved ribbon-twist and foliate bands and inscription 'R. HARMSWORTH MY DEAR LOVE 1790'
