Lu Qingyuan, born in 1946, Guangdong, apprenticed under Zhao Shao'ang and graduated from Hong Kong Lingnan Art Academy.
Lu held numerous solo exhibitions in Hong Kong, Taiwan, USA, Malaysia and Canada. In 1985, he held a solo exhibition at the National Museum of History in Taipei, as well as at the National Dr. Sun Yat-San Memorial Hall in 1996. Lu participated in the 11th to 15th "National Art Exhibition of the Republic of China."
