    Lot Essay

'This is a photo of Jenny, a favorite model of mine of the period, photographed in my bedroom at the Pension Florian (I changed the name to Dorian for legal purposes) which was, during the Nazi period called, "Salon Kitty", the most famous bordello catering to party big wigs. At the time I was living in the Pension, it was owned by Kitty's daughter, Kathleen' (Annotation by Newton on verso of another print of this image).
