a concertina album, containing thirty-eight woodblock prints highlighted in silver, depicting ladies and children at various leisurely pursuits on riverbanks, on terraces, in landscapes and in interiors playing games, walking, reading and writing, playing musical instruments and in conversation -- each print 14in. x 9½in. (35.5cm. x 24.1cm.) including margins, with double page frontis piece illustrating a bijin holding back a curtain, with hard back cloth covered end sections.
